Under the Dome by Stephen King

Under the Dome is a novel about a small town in Maine that suddenly and unexplainably is surrounded by an invisible Dome that cannot be passed through. What do the people on the inside do when they are cut off from the world around them?

So.... Obviously this author is very famous and known for being a great writer. The writing is great and draws me into the story from the beginning but I had a problem that kept me from continuing the book to finish it... The dialogue. It takes place in a very small town with a group of people that have a very limited vocabulary which includes "tiddies" while referring to a woman's body parts. I don't like small town trashy talking when I'm IN a small town so I'd rather not read a 1000+ page novel with the same language in it when I can avoid it. I'm sure it's an interesting story, I was enjoying it but grew tired of the language and kind of figured it would only get worse. Sorry to all of you die hard King fans, just couldn't force myself to make it through this one
